Again, I really like drakocat's design for the desman, but I think the hose thing should be a different color (orange, like mudkip?)
Also, the ram's wool seems a tad too dark, and the colors are pretty boring ( I also think it looks to gentle (the eyebrows and eyes)).

I was also thinking the ram would have a personality similar to squirtle and totodile's, while the lizard would be like charmander, and the desman like cyndaquil or torchic.

I think I got a bunch of the artwork accounted for. I think we're going in the right direction. Now if only a mod would get rid of this damn poll.

I made the colors look better, his eyes look tougher and the smoke wool lighter, I also gave him a tuft of hair, which one looks better? left or right?

If the wool is still too dark I have a lighter version

I think the one on the right looks better. I don't know why, though

I agree, I think it has more of the "fire" feel.

maybe make the eyebrows a fiery red/orange, that light orange against the normal orange, looks odd to me.

(Before I begin, I have read everything, even every single post. XD)

Ideas for the Desman line:
Basic- Similar to Koopaul's design: Eyes closed, Munna shaped body, hose nose. For a cute effect, there should be a water drop hanging out of the hose (BOOGERS. lulz). Colors: Red & White (like a fire truck)
1st Evo: Bigger now, Eyes open, Longer, slimmer body, the hose nose is longer and bigger, and and white box is on it's back. Looks similar to a fire truck (as in size (NOT SHAPE) and color.)
2nd Evo: Really, REALLY big, as in fire truck size, the hose nose is bigger, and it has a coil around it, as if it was really long and was coiled. The white box has raised up as a ladder. It is red & white, and has one horn that lights up.

I know, they sound horrible, but trust me, they're gonna look good. I may upload pictures (or sprites) later.

Even though those ideas sound good, the Water stater should be blue, same as every other one

Well, maybe it can be a blue fire truck. XD

Desmans can have long flat tails. I figured the tail would become the ladder.

As for the fire starter I can't say I like the eyebrows. It takes away the youngness of it all.

Also i looked back and none of the starters have had eyebrows, at least in thier first form

Well sure, but for now we should lose the eyebrows.

So much about eyebrows!!!!
But seriously, I do not like the fire truck idea.
It doesnt sound right.
Like a pokemon being a car?????
