The VG Resource

So now we have 5 Generations worth of Pokémon, some very obvious patterns appear. Legendary Trios, annoying cave Pokémon, and early game flying and rodent Pokémon.

But everyone has their favourites. So if you were to build a remixed Generation made of exising Pokémon, what would the Pokédex look like?

I made an incomplete prototype:

It's not a full set of 100 (An assumed minimum, that's how many Generation 2 introduced), and is a little loose on what would fit into a category (Game Freak would never make Denchura a game mascot in a million years), but I think I managed to give a fair representation of types and Generations.

Hmmm, might need more flying types, Common annoying Rock Pokemon, more version specifics, and less pokemon from hoenn

Fewer Pokémon from Hoenn? Hahaha hell no.

My version
had to move a few things aorund and added 2 sections (I mainly picked from favorite pokemon)

Okay here's my additions:


Swapped Black and White fire starter because it fit the reptilian theme better and added common rock and electric pokemon.

you didn't have to add to mine, It could have been your own additions, but that's fine too :I

mine should be the same except all pokemons are replaced with metagross and croagunk.

They call the cute event legendary "Phantom Pokemon" yeah oddly enough.

I'll do this for fun when I get home from school tomorrow.

I'm back from school and I feel too lazy to do this but I really want to. ;3;

This took WAY too long. Idk if common fighting is common but he's there anyway. So yeah I took some liberties
