A black and white sprite sheet sounds like a unique idea!
Anyway here is the new bases, after a couple of hours work.
(edit: which do you think is better? left, right or neither?)
you know why i sugested you to user a sligthy bigger canvas? because at that size you'd have to deal with readbility issues you clearly can't handle yet. larger(not huge, but larger than what you have posted) sprites would give you more room and freedom to work on them.
but still, neither of those are good.
The bases look far better than before; their shape and proportions are more accurate and less.. mutated. Still, though, they don't appear to be in a fighting stance at all. It looks like they're just sleeping standing up. Give the sprite a bit of dynamiqueness.
Pose altered to look more dynamic, with a few colours added (this isn't the base for either yet, its just basically the basic base)
Oh, and could you guys be a bit more specific as to which
parts need fixing next time? It gets kinda hard when you pick up on a problem and Im not sure which section you mean

of course using the shape tool to draw a character is not something you should always do but at least i'd make thinsg way easier for you, on this particular character. not to mention i'd make it extremely stiff and unnatural in any other character
as for the palette, why don't you just make it easier for yourself and pick the colors from the original sprites. if we're to replicate them, lets take some load off your shoulders and work first on having you being able to make a decent lineart.
besides its not like anyone would give you a "palette" to work from -don't be that incompetent-, you're not a baby who can't figure out that if you can't develop a sense of colors you can always take them from an already working palette. a sense of colors you'll still develop in time, with practice. if you keep trying of course.
Who are you trying to kid, Aura? Metaru pointed out the issues clearly. Re-read other members' previous replies to your thread to complete it. If you carry on like this I'm going to warn you and lock this for acting like a dunce.
you know, at this point i'd gently make you eat the following words

When I saw this I worried
Yes, I think it is actually. Just update your sprites properly.
Hey, OP
legitimally not trying to be mean here, just trying to get a grasp of the situation
when you see what you have finished pixelling, does it look good to YOU?
often times spriting takes a lot of practice, perseverance and judgement on the spriter themself
just because you have finished something, doesn't mean you should post it here, make sure it passes your quality control before bringing it up the greater scrutiny of the people here
let me tell you, sometimes you have to make quite a few attempts at a single sprite before it even STARTS to look good
even then, sometimes it just turns out that the project is not worth attempting at the moment, so your time would be better served trying something new, then once you improve perhaps come back to the project.

Yeah, I was thinking of putting this project on hold for a while.
Could someone lock this thread until Im ready to start again?
