Drayden is pretty cool, so is Marshal.

I've only really played Gen 1 and just started on Gen 5, so my options are sort of limited, but~

Brock, Gary (I loved to hate him, honestly :V ), Sabrina, and Cheren.

Conversely, I really do not like Bianca. Ugh. Ugh times a million. I hope she gets lost in a cave or something.

May was fucking awful as a rival, Wally completely usurped her on Victory Road by having the most badass team, but was unfortunately only battled in-game twice. Bianca was just underwhelming. Meh.

After playing Black, I'd have to say for favorite characters, it would be (in no order)

Hero: Red. But I also want to mention Black, as he's the first male hero design I've liked since Gold.
Rival: Silver. It's impossible to not love Blue, but I always liked Silver a little more.

Iris was quite cool. The anime, however, just shows her as some complete hypocrite.

Also, I like how at the end of B + W, until that point, N was a huge leader and was able to put people in their place. Then after beating Ghetsis, he's just some lost little kid again. I like N for that. Ghetsis was a bit of a dick though

I agree. I would have to throw N into my favorite human characters now.

Now that the new games have come out I also Like Drayden, N, Elesa, and Grimsley.

I love the pokemon trainers because they are the very first to inspire me on drawing human characters in the first place I was a big fan of May long time ago and now my faves are just getting bigger by watching the anime every weekend anyway here is my fave one Emily!

She is from the episode "sitting psyduck" a rich gal owns my fave pokemon psyduck from Kanto.
