I had a N64....i got it for my 9th birthday in the morning...when i came home from school instead of playing with it i recorded a new episode of Digimon on VHS..then my dad got home and took the N64 back to the store and got me a PS1 for christmas..

Why the heck would he do that to you? All that did was make you miss out on a lot of classic games!

Yeah, I'm also aware that the gloves in a lot of Nintendo games look a lot like Mario's, ShadowTH. However, ever since "Super Smash Bros.," I kind of think of them as miniature Master Hands.
how the heck did thid get so off topic so fast?

i am planing a huge update soon, i don't want to make the icons for it though
would someone else be will ing to do them for me?
here is my big model update!:

ALEC"S BIG MODEL UPDATE!
(Note: these models are litteraly big, this is almost intirely made up of areas in the game with the exeption of the logo and mario's head both from the intro. the reason that the rooms are seperated from the first floor is because the render seperately and it would be hard to get them all into the same model. this is part one of several planed mario 64 area rips, i am not going to rip thwomps fortress because it anois the heck out of me i hope some one else could do that. i hope you all enjoy these models they took lots of work to rip)

Nice, that's sure a whole lot of stuff. I'll probably work on making icons for it later today and then upload it. For now I've gotta get some sleep.

Oh and I'm sorry for not mentioning this earlier actually, but you could probably rip all of the areas in Toad's Tool with 3D Via if you wanted to since it renders the whole level at once. Not sure if that would be easier than the method you're using now, but I figured I'd mention it.

Edit: Also, for lots of models like this rapidshare isn't really the best site unless you put all of the different archives inside a single archive. The problem is Rapidshare loves to make you wait to download stuff and for lots of stuff like this it can make it very time consuming to get it all.

beleive it or not i actually thought of using toads tool but i think this is good enough for now
speaking of toads tool i'm thinking of uploading the toads tool version of luigi, i'm not sure if it should be counted though, it would probably have to get its own section on the mario 64 page if its uploaded

a bit off topic but have you heard of the mario 64 importer?
with it and toads tool you can virtually make anything
I guess I'd put that Luigi in Custom/Edited. Since you didn't technically make it I almost want to say I shouldn't upload it, but because of the way that its distributed I don't think it would be an issue.

As for the importer, last I heard it was still a bit buggy although it looked pretty cool for sure.

i have only rarely had problems with it, the space to make l;evels is extremely limited though, i tried importing midna into it and in turned out awesome

if i upload luigi i guess i will get permission first
I guess i don't mind it really, if not for KH I guess i would'nt be interested in makeing video games in the first place
and now i'm getting into all the classics as well.
I love how that mountain from the intro came out when i converted it, I could'nt figgure out how big i should make it so i made is HUUGE.
now i just have to find a skydome to fit it and i'll be perfect.
The model for Jolly Roger Bay itself is empty FYI alec.
Shadowth117, you put the black Bob-omb under characters, when he's an enemy.
I've managed to convert the models into working MMD order. however I am wondering about the Sunken Ship, is it suposed to be filled with water? if so the water is probabaly just a lighting thing or a layer of something....basically soemthing that can't be ripped right? I was kinda wondering if any one had a semi transparent block of water I could use. the Lighting in MMD can't really pull of underwater, it just makes it look like it's being lit up by a neon sign. underwater stages are pretty rare in MMD at least stateside that is.
I've never owned Super Mario 64 but i did play it at my rich cousin's house alot. was'nt there a penguin in the cool cool mountains? a baby and a really big one?
The sunken ship starts with water and then you empty it by opening a chest. The water there was really just a transparent, two sided plane with a generic water texture. No underwater filtering even under it.

And yeah there were penguins in Cool Cool Mountain. There were a number of babies and then a mother. Interesting enough you can actually throw the babies around and even over the cliffside... I probably found that more enjoyable then I should have after being told that it was the wrong baby several times.
right, like a plane of glass over the screen, darn, if only i could find a block of water semi-transparent water textures then i could just expand it to cover the whole stage, then when used in MMD no mater where you turn the camera your undewater....maybe i should just do the cube separately.. that way the water can be removed, like u could have the cube pan down to imitate the water draining out of the ship. I think i saw something like that on 3d Studio Warehouse.

is one of the penguins pink?

nope, only blue

the reason i didn't rip the water was because i am pretty sure that the water has animations and i didn't want to add a pointless unanimated plane through the midle of the stages
