No shit? What type?

Bulbapedia: If this Pokémon has Dry Skin, the effectiveness of Water-type moves is 0× and the effectiveness of Fire-type moves is 5×
If I may just say something:
Pokemon evolved.

Mew is simply the ancestor, Arceus is "God".
What I don't understand is what pokemon is what
What I mean is that Mew is the ancestral pokemon. Arceus is the first Pokemon. So which came first?
Also, on that topic, what pokemon created the world? Firt it was Kyogre and Groudon, but then it was apparently the Regi trio. Then the plot thickens as Dialga and Palkia created the world, before it turned out to be Arceus. Anybody understand what is going on?

Well if Arceus is the fist Pokemon
Then obviously Arceus came first

The universe and space are not the world, so Dialga and Palkia didn't do that at all. Just read the Pokedex entries on bulbapedia. They pretty much say it all.
I thought I heard that dialga and palkia created the world or something. I think someone said it in the game, or it was in the anime, i can't remember
If anything, Groudon and Kyogre created the world.
How is Mew v Arceus hard to understand? First of all the movies are not cannon and Arceus is NOT God. It's a Shinnoh legend. Secondly, even if Arceus was God and created everything, think of mew as a stem cell. That's why it was based on an unborn baby, it has all the *DNA* for Pokemon becuase it is a "fetus".
Even if Arceus was God, that's like being confused as to what came first, God or babies?
BABIES MUST HAVE COME FIRST BECAUSE THEY ARE BLAH I'M FUCKING DUMB.

Nope, like Chad said, they were only named after them in ENGLISH, but the hitmons were based on Hiroyuki Ebihara and Tadashi Saramura, boxer/kickboxers, thus their Japanses names are Ebiwalar and Sawamular. Hitmontop's Japanese name comes from a Brazilian fighting style which involves spinning kicks.

Pika- is a small mammal belonging to the Ochotonidae family in Japan.
Kind of describes Pikachu being the small mouse poke'mon.
This also may be a coincidence, like pachirisu pikachu's name is made up of wordplay, in Japanese pikapika is an onomatopoeia of sparkle, and chuchu is the sound of squeaking for mice (this is the mouse part).
So the pika animal part is very very unlikely.

Everything is legend, Groudon and Kyogre were only said to have created Hoenn, the main legends of 4th gen created Sinnoh, and Mew is a pokemon that has roots to all pokemon.
Creating Arceus did create some holes, but Arceus is a pokemon that creates worlds, and it's plates are the source of its power, without them its just a regular pokemon. You say it's all legend but the games have proved enough that the pokemon does SOMETHING, God or no God, it's the strongest of all pokemon, and created dialga/palkia/giratina. And people seem to forget legend says Arceus was born from an egg that appeared from nowhere before the universe began, so the legend does stretch a lot of shit like the 1000 arm thing, but Arceus still holds power to create shit. That's how gamefreak handles things, give pokemon power to do shit and add "in legend" just for the sake of people not going overboard with stuff. Either way the mystery of mew vs arceus won't ever be properly answered, so leave it alone.
The movies aren't canon.
Because Pokemon aren't real. :l

Using your logic, we can assume the TV series and games are non cannon too. So with in mind I can safely assume who is the god of all Pokémon. Psyduck!

canon within the fictional universe of pokemon
Parasect had 3 4x weaknesses in the first generation, Fire, Flying, and Poison.
The movies aren't canon becuase none of the places they visit are canon and the event time lines are so fucked.
