The Villa
Yeah, I know Biohazard ripped a sheet of villa textures, but it looks like ones from Castlevania 64 not Legacy of Darkness which uses far more textures than its predecessor.
so, herewe are, with a big sheet full of many textures of perhaps one of the most story oriented levels in the entire game.
Young Henry Oldrey
This the fourth playable character: Henry Oldrey as a young sir. I took this during the cinematic where heis being chased by Franky the friendly neighborhood chainsaw weilding gardener because I didn't feel likebeing stressed to line up for a good shot while trying to outrun mister maniac.<_<;
Renon
Just his "human" form for now. This guy seriously gives methe creeps.
Gardener & Stone Hounds
I swear those Stone "Hounds" look too eerily human in the face.
This part of the game is not only one of the most tense, but also one of the most frightening experiences in the game where you're chased around a giant hedge maze by two stone dogs that hold you in place while you struggle to break free before franky decides to cut you down to size. Trustme, you'll feel absolutely helpless every time.
Say what you want about Legacy of Darkness, this is one of the only games (aside from Circle and Chronicles - though the latter was a remake) since the end of the classic Vania era that actually attempted to be truly difficult and terrifying. ah, that old classic feeling like you are at the game's mercy from the very moment you turn the power on.
All right, finally done with stage 4. Now on to Cornell's stage 5: the Outter Wall, an area that'll reappear in Circle of the Moon.
