The only time I do this is Fallout, where I used my sound system to play the Fallout soundtrack. I love the music, but playing in game just leads to people knowing where you are and listening to loads of bad puns. Not to mention you can then have both the Fallout 3 and New Vegas soundtrack playing.

Air Rivals. been ages since i played it though, but its probably the best action mmo you can find around.
Whenever I play on Sawmill in TF2, I listen to Tallon Overworld 2 from Metroid Prime.

I play music in TF2 using the soundscapes, typically. Haven't gotten around to them all but I've got Rocket Barrel on Goldrush and Badwater, and Final Destination (Brawl) on Nucleus.
