So basically you took HGSS's female rocket grunt, recolored some stuff, changed some stuff, then passed it off as your own?

It's the HG Rocket Grunt's head, Misty's body. The Pokeball is from one of the psychic trainers, I think.

I probably should have made it more clear in the OP that it's not an original sprite. It's just a splice-edit thing I did in my spare time, and I wanted some crit, so I can get to editing bigger stuff.

we can't crit something that isn't really yours to begin with; the most I can say is that the scarf is flat and the design is p. strange.

we strongly encourage you to make 100% custom sprites next time, because edits are quite frowned upon here. Consider this a tip and a verbal warning.

The skirt didn't follow the shape of the legs.
Her left arm is either short or too stiff.

see, the problem with splicing is, if we crit, you'd probably say something like, "oh, but that was the original shape in the beginning "

dont post edits/splices. there is nothing that could be critiqued about them besides the bare fact you shouldn't make them to begin with.

Yep got you. Now you would like us to give cc for a splice. So here you go. The head looks out of place, the outline is jaggy, and the whole design overall doesn't make sense. Why would she be wearing flipflops, in a long lab coat type thing, and why would she hold her empty arm up in the air, and extend her other arm with a pokeball? It's not right, so even if this was the Splicers resource it wouldn't be accepted if you were planning on submitting. Make a sprite 100% uniquely your own then make a new thread. I request this thread locked.

I'm confused about her pose. Is she squatting? Try actually doing that pose in real life and see how comfortable it feels.
