how hard is it to low level? curious.

it depends on your equipment. i semi-low levelled with a pyromancer using only cloth robes (because i wanted to be at the highest speed) and an estoc, and that ranged from my character being a beast to being slammed down in a few seconds.
this time my character has elite knight armor at a high level, a +10 uchigatana and a few other goodies. if you're good at the game, its certainly doable; but if the idea of doing things like killing havel at level 12 for his ring, or bursting through the darkroot basin and darkroot forest just to grab the elite knight armor at said level scares you, then i'm going to guess you'll need more practice.

Beat the game a week back or so. Absolutely fantastic.
Favorite areas for me are:
-Undead Burg/Parish
-Anor Londo
-The Duke's Archives
All of the areas are really great in that they are distinct, but tied together with similar feelings of mystery, imo.
Currently on NG+

Glitched the Hellkite Dragon the first time 'round by shooting at it from the Black Knight's tower, so it was neat actually trying to provoke it and running beneath it to the Sunbro's bonfire. Wish I could've gotten the Drake Sword, but I got it in my other file before the patch, so at least I can get the achievement if all goes well this time. Beat the Bell Gargoyles and managed to snag all the possible equipment you can receive from them in one go.

Ah Dark Souls, pretty fun game. I rented it and got as far as the Anor Londo boss which kept beating me. I like it more then Demons Souls.

Bumping on a related note:
Rumor has it Dark Souls will be on the PC, even was hinted on it's facebook page.
Given that everyone was begging for it it does not surprise me that this could turn out true. Which basically means if you don't have a 360 or PS3 you won't have an excuse to miss out this time (also the game mods that can come out of this, which will make the game much more better than it already is.)

PC edition confirmed for august, new bosses, prepare your anus.
Hopefully this means the console dark souls will get some DLC =/. If not I'm certainly going to get this somehow.

If there are new bosses, I know what I would love to see, even if I can't actually own that version to fight against them:
Or it might just be some of the unused enemies from the art book that I don't own but I wish I did.
The other three of Gwyn's knights. The only one you ever actually see is Ornstein the Dragonslayer, but the other three are mentioned in certain items you pick up throughout the game, in particular four rings:

I might actually enjoy this game for PC... If they manage to port it properly, that is.

Okay, after a lot of PVP last night I had this funny experience from when I got summoned to help someone in their game.
So I'm fighting this invading guy on this THIN walkway (If you've played it's that walkway in Anor Londo that leads to the big painting room) that goes up at an angle with him having the higher ground. He keeps throwing these fireballs which burst into a pool of lava that clings to walls and floors and stuff, but since I'm on the other side of this archway his shots explode in the center and never reach me. After one shot I dive through the lava and surprise him and kill him with a melee combo on the last leg of my health.
Then in the next room on the even THINNER walkways I help the guy out by knocking off every single one of the non-player enemies with arrows, making them fall hilariously onto the floor.
THEN we do some jumping on the other side of the room to get a chest (one that I was puzzled about how to get for the longest time actually, not that the reward was one that I ever needed), and on the way back after watching him make a very simple jump to get back, I try to replicate it, but end up going a bit too far to the right and smack right into a pillar and fall to my death. xD I was so embarrassed after totally owning everything else, but I laughed so hard.
Oh, I also had an awesome two vs two moment where I was trying to attract invaders. I had a summoned guy and one dark spirit invaded, but then another one invaded so we both got separated and had to fight them one at a time, until they tried to both focus on me and I somehow managed to kill them both with the same killing blow when I was about to die. After dying a bunch last night I went on this nice winning streak. It was awesome.

I've had a few pretty good runs myself. This one time in Anor Londo I was just chilling out and about to fight Ornstein & Smough when this dude invaded me. I was like, "Alright bro, let's do this."
And I ran up to where the archer once was and confronted him on the staircase, and bowed but he pretty much just charged at me. After rolling back he just stood there with his shield raised and when I moved forward he went back and vice-versa. After thirty seconds or so of just standing around, I was like, "Eff this." And two-handed my Fire Manserpant Greatsword and broke through his defense easily. Bowed afterwards cuz that's how I roll.
I usually refrained from using enemies to my advantage since I usually felt bad 'bout it, but I realized that they are really effing useful and this is Dark Souls so whatever. Especially in Anor Londo. Those giant sentinels are really helpful, haha. One time I invaded trying to earn some ears as a Darkmoon Blade and ran up to them, managing to whittle down his health until he'd just run away and estus up while I consumed some more humanity. It finally just came down to busting each other up on the stairs. I escaped with a fraction of health left, definitely one of my more intense matches.
Another time this fella got trapped by the sentinels when I lured him in and they just slaughtered him and I just sat back and watched. :P

Anyway, the dlc and PC port sounds cool and inevitable, but I really hope they give dlc back to the console versions too. I'd feel a bit miffed if they didn't and I had to buy the PC version just to get new stuff.
Also, Tom Guycott I have the art book and there are quite a few enemies that didn't make it in including a female gargoyle, a Fat Official riding a boar-like monster, a gruesome executioner-like being, an archer of sorts and a chimera.
