Deleted my last post with that horrible hitmonlee XD
Here's the newest version of hitmonlee after today's work:
Also, here's dratini with some very minor tweaks and a small palette change:
Anything I need to fix on either of them? Hitmonlee's left (our right) arm is kind of bugging me, but I don't really know what to do to fix it.
Edit: Here's some choices between hitmonlee's arm position, along with hopefully dratini's last update.

This is something that bothers me about the games, they assume that EVERY version of a single pokemon is the same, where as in the cartoon AND in a real world setting they come in various sizes like normal animals. That's something that would make your potential game stand out, different sizes and different looks for different types of pokemon, sort of like the shiny pokemans.
Basically what I'm saying is, your sprites look good and it doesn't matter the size so long as they're within ball-park. You don't see 3 foot tall Chihuahuas IRL do you?

Yeah man, I totally feel what you're saying. I've actually thought about that a lot, too, and I'm trying to come up with some ideas for different versions of species of pokemon in a possible game, but at the moment I'm spriting each of them as close to the measurements in the pokedex as possible, because I assume that's a sort of "norm" that they're at. I don't think dratini or hitmonlee are exactly at which they're supposed to be, but I'm cool with that so long as they aren't extremely off.
But like I said, some variance will come, but I think the best way to go about this all is to sprite all the base sprites of the generation I pokemon, and then see if I can get some help animating them. Though, some help with all the base sprites would be nice, too. XD
The original pokemonzero project that's inspiring me had some pretty rad ideas for individualizing the pokemon, and I'd like to do something like that as well, along with incorporating important storyline pokemon to be available to be caught.
All in all, thanks for your comment and everyone is welcome to join me. The main priority of this right how is to sprite them all, and then maybe I'll move over to the game development boards.
The newest pokemon I'm working on right now is hitmonchan, so expect to see a sprite by the end of the day. =]

Annnnnnnnnd here's hitmonchan:
Any suggestions to what I do next? I'm up for anything. (After I touch up hitmonchan, of course)
Pikachu, I choose you!
Edit: I noticed the first pikachu was a little off balance, so did I fix it with the second?
