Well, just got the game not too long ago and I freakin love this game. I feel the excitement I had when I first played Pokemon with Pokemon Red. Im currently on Victory Road beating up some peoples.

Also, I tried getting a shiny Victini, but apparantly you can't get one without hacking ) : I was a sad man when I learnt that you can't. How many other pokemon have shiny block on?

And also:

I think the Version Mascot's also have the lock on them assuming you catch them at N's Castle instead of elsewhere, though I could be wrong~

I doubt it because it is an intractable legendary. Usually those you can get shiny. Event pokemon are specifically made to never be shiny unless they are all purposely shiny.

is there a way to get rid of eggs that isnt either hatching them or sticking them in an empty box in the pc

I think you can release them if they're in a box, but I'm not sure
