Black and white has been released for 63 days in England (61 in America) and you are already thinking about Generation VI?!
You sir, are very impatient.
Impatient? You realize B/W have been out much longer than that in Japan right? The DS is over, Pokemon B/W was the the curtain closing.
Do you think Gen V will continue to the 3DS??
I also feel I should mention the severe lack of end-game content in B/W. No Battle Frontier? No Pokeathlon? Sure we got musicals but that's about it.
Does Nintendo honestly expect this to hold us off for another 5 years?

I think it will
I don't see why Pokemon Grey can't be a 3ds game.
because it'd not be worth it
Why port a game from the DS to 3DS and not utilize the 3D/faster speed/better everything?
or would they recode the entire game?
To be perfectly honest, with every pokemon pair of games, the 3rd special edition game will always come out for the same game system.
It will be on the normal DS

With every new generation of Pokemon games, they come out on a newer system than the previous generation. That is why B/W are on the 3DS instead of the DS. Oh wait, no they aren't. I think it's safe to say that gen V isn't afraid to break the rules

it'd be the most played game in history
unfortunately if nintendo makes it it will suck and have baby rock paper scissors battle mechanics, be completely unbalanced, and have shit graphics to top it all off.
oh and its exclusive to whatever nintendo's shitty ass home console will be at the time.
i said it before and i will say it all day if i have to: i do NOT trust a Pokemon MMO in the hands of Nintendo if it is to be done right

like pokemon crystal which wasn't for GB pocket right

Uh.
No it isn't. The DS will last for
at least another year before it dies. Just like the GameCube, just like the PS2, and just like the Game Boy Advance. I've never seen devs completely ignore a "last-gen" console immediately after its successor comes out.

Pokemon Silver Gold and Crystal were all gameboy games.
You wanted it to work on the fat or pocket then snap off that little plastic piece that moves over when you turn the system on. Problem solved.
I just realised that Game Freak probably won't make Pokemon Grey, because they mentioned in an interview that the game is about contrast, and opposites, so going on this theme I don't think they will make a game half way between both games.
However, I honestly think that R/S/E remakes will be made. i know this is weird to base something like that off, but has anybody else noticed that almost every pokemon from Hoenn got new sprites, and that very few, if any, were kept from platinum. It sounds weird, but it makes sense to me.

That's
way more unlikely than even Grey. They'd have to program from the ground up a Pokemon RSE remake for a finished console instead of modifying BW, which is
really impractical.
And Tyvon: the DS may have a year left in it, but that's for 3rd parties. Nintendo always does a last major 1st party game before being done with it. Pokemon Black/White (or the Pokemon Typing game in Japan) is that game.

How is Grey unlikely at all? Every Pokemon generation has had a third "improved" game.
Nintendo said there wouldn't be a grey version
just like how they said there wouldn't be a fifth gen
He didn't say there wouldn't be a third installment -

It wouldn't make any sense for them to announce the production/tell everyone that 'Grey' is going to exist because it might take away profit from B/W.
