If you've played any recent 2D Sonics, doing the charged spindash will halt movement, I'm pretty damn sure.
Keep on dreaming because knowing sega they are most likely not going to give a shit about OCremix.
besides I think they actually aced the music so far.
Those remix albums were 'okay'. I do like a few of the songs from each of those. But you're overhyping.
(OCR as a music community kinda jumped the shark a while ago; and that Pokémon album they released recently was fucking earbleeding. But let's not go there)
OCR ceased to be that cool a while a go. beatdrop and djpretzel are probably the ones i like the most, but thats all.
I hate hearing techno remixes of calm soothing levels. This happens a lot with OCRemix. Yep I downloaded the DKC ones and I wasn't that satisfied.
I find pretty much the entire S3K remix album great
the S2 one was good as well but not as good as S3K
Sound of Speed album has some really great remixes but it also has some really fucking dumb, straightforward and outdated ones. Like your usual high-pitched techno with boom beats remix from OCremix and your dumb simple guitar re-arrangement everyone's done five years ago. It does have some really creative and/or just plain awesome tracks though, like Caos, Subsonic Sparkle and Clockwork Criminal, it's worth checking imo.
The Pokemon album was an utter embarassment though. And SFIITHD's soundtrack proved that you really shouldn't hire OCRemix members, plus, SEGA already has some really good composers already, they don't need to hire people from OCR.
I just find Moder Sonics GReen Hill soooooo....boring. Guess it's just me and must have no taste in music.
I just noticed how everything in classic Sonic's stage just looks so large compared to the Genesis levels. I don't like it that much, it makes Sonic look tiny. I mean look at those titanic loop-dee-loops and those swinging platforms could fit the entire Sonic cast on them! Not to mention the huge amounts of empty space where Sonic is just running forward or being bounced across a gigantic chasm.
Genesis Green Hill Zone was very compact, all the levels were. They were still big but managed to cram a lot more stuff in them by making all the obstacles smaller so you weren't just running through a lot of empty space.
Could be to make the platforming easier. Or it could be Sega's purposeful mistake to make sure the game misses the mark. They seem to like doing that.
I dunno; being able to see what's coming up while moving at spped is pretty damn useful. The camera was so zoomed in in Sonic 4 it was almost claustrophobic.
"The guy who looks like Sonic but doesn't look like Sonic."
that guy is an ass and exactly what is wrong with the sonic fanbase

He was a douche and an ass for being like that during an interview, but I don't think that merely liking one design than the other is the fucking problem of the fanbase.
I think this comment stroke me as more offensive to me than what the guy did tbh
