Are you referring to the 20 Years of Sonic trailer?
I always figured that, because of the reappearance of the Red Rings from Colors, the extra levels shown there would be represented in special stage for both Sonics, Sonic Simulator style.
But I swear, if they're DLC, I will give SEGA all of my money.

Erm... think you read my post wrong?
OH OH yeah I get it now. Whoops!
Honestly, I'm not sure. It's possible they left all that stuff in the demo to lead us into thinking the game was a lot smaller than it actually is.
As for all the footage they're showing? Nah, I'm likening that to what Nintendo did with Brawl. It's just a tease to get people hyped up.
sonic pocket adventure is more sonic generations than sonic generations itself.
Sonic Pocket Adventure's levels were basically mish-mashes and remakes of the original trilogy's stages with different names and level design, even the music is from the trilogy games. Most of it is Sonic 2 with a little Sonic 1 inspiration, and Sonic 3 music.
EDIT: Oh, and it had good physics.
Though I don't feel like you can really compare the two, they're sort of two different things which each have their own pros and cons.
Sonic Pocket Adventure is basically Sonic Advance Zero, or Sonic 4 With Actual Physics.
What kind of spoilers can a Sonic game possibly have?
I'll probably pirate it for pc and buy it if I like it.
It's not about the story, it's because the game is literally fan-service the game.
I don't want to know about every reference and secret that they had thrown at the game before finding out myself.
I think it's good if it's getting a PC version because I can mod it and do what sega didn't
that's one advantage to it.
It's not hard to mod the 360 version, we saw people do it to the online demo. It's just that you need to crack your console to do that and a lot of people don't want to go through the hassle.
Hence why PC games are usually the better candidate when it comes to doing things like that.
To me it's kind of a smart move on Sega's part because if people are willing to buy the PC version then it's more than likely they will go into the modding scene if they are disappointed in how it came out.
Sonic Generations Remix PC versions only. Coming Summer 2012. Be even better if it allows a whole dev kit that you can create your own levels, create YOUR Sonic Generations , one where Hydro City very much exists.
