I think it's about time you tried something else to get better practice...! Maybe something a little bigger? You could try some different angles. Jump out of your comfort zone and try to learn something new, even if it's hard.

I think she means to stop doing G/S/C styled sprites for now and try something new (and larger), so you'll improve.

I believe what she meant by trying something else is to ditch all the GSC stuff and do something without being attached to any template.

Even if your first sprite without a base isn't good, we can help you make it better, that's what we're here for. TBH, you aren't making a whole lot of progress with these sprites, so don't be afraid to try something new. You may even be able to develop your own style you'll like even more! You can go back to GSC later on if you want with your new skills.
