Definitely true enough. Internet denizens have an awful habit of not sticking to commitments. At the very least the large number of entrants means the show still goes on, even with a bunch of dropouts.
now hopefully this one will actually be managed well and not fall apart on the second round
because if so this'll be downright beautiful
participation in TUGS should be mandatory, otherwise you get banned from TSR for a year
and then when they get unbanned, they can join the next TUGS

welp, i hope i can take all this organizing
Fantabulous! We now have Starpower and Ninspriterx. I hope mozzy joins. *hint hint*
I'd also like to point out that
I am not part of the jury panel, because apparently me organizing and entering TUGS isn't ethically sound. Anyway it's just annoying me a lot now that I've been told that. I will post the terms of the round, but it'll be the judges who dictate the terms. Just so you know.
WOOHOO! Another judge in the jury panel!
Remember, folks: please post any ideas for the rounds here!
buh, ive been bored for a very long time and finally found something that might be entertaining, sign me up

how many damn judges do you need
As many as possible; for now I have nine judges, which means one judge for six contestants. The number of contestants will bump up once the News item is posted by Jalonso (should be done by today/tomorrow), so a couple more judges would be comfortable.
The 3rd TUGS had like 60+ entrants and 3 judges (Jalonso, Helm, BigBrother) and worked pretty well. I don't even think 9 judges is necessary.
Oh... okay. I won't look for any more then. I should've asked previous TUGS organizers (such as yourself) how it was done before rushing off asking for judges :v
I was thinking of a jury panel per category. Mh. It just seemed like a lot of entries to judge...
If the worst comes to the worst, I'll offer some judges to participate instead.
It would be good if is about creating pixel sprite and maybe game related, and not like PixelJoint competition which is mostly pixel art.
Btw, what do TUGS acronym from?
TUGS is the beginning of TUGSPWEITL-CINQ
and it means the ultimate greatest spriter
The PWEITL-CINQ also stands for something, too, doesn't it?
yeah but i don't remember what it was
