Hey there, I haven't posted here in a LONG time. I don't beg for much but please allow me to enter the TUGs, I just now noticed a link to this on Pixeljoint and have participated in the Pixeltendo TUGS twice. I'll have the Preliminary done before the deadline, I promise!
In case you're looking for a valuable entry, I go by Claredeth on Pixeljoint, my work on there is a tad outdated but will go as a decent example of my worth to the competition.
Oh hey it is you
just go ahead and do the prelims, they'll be bound to let you in then. They'd have no other choice.
As it turns out, I probably won't be able to enter.
Good luck everybody!
Oh no, not you Sploder... you would've done great.
Ah, shit.
I'll get you off the list.

I've seen you sprite great things before...
I'm in, but I think I'm out of my league here. I'm a novice spriter, and this will be the 4th spriting project I've ever done.
don't worry man, you'll be with spriters your level.

I agree in that this prelim doesn't feel like much fun, but submit something anyway; hopefully round 1 will have something better.
Well it
is more like much fun when you're close to finished
TUGS's fun comes with the challenge, after the first round the goal of ending up on top seems less and less obtainable, making you sprite harder and learn new way of making pixel art. This is true of any competition. Of course, if you don't have the time for this then it won't be fun, work/school can suck that way heh.
I still think I made the preliminary round too tough.
