Major update on the monster portrait sheet (WIP):


I found a gme savefile with a debug room on gamefaqs and just renamed it into mcr.

How do you make it work?
epsxe - config - memory card - choosing mcr file and that's it.

I've also heard many things about PSXMemTool 1.19, but you don't need it at all.

I've ripped all monster portraits, only the eggs are left.

These are my last "big" rips for this project. I skip the Machine Golem (too annoying) and The Mana Goddess (requires screen-ripping since she's not as huge as the other bosses) and do some more backgrounds and little things (mission portraits).

Unfortunately I can't do the encyclopedia portraits since PSicture doesn't load all of them.

Also if you ever intend to come back to this project I can tell you which bosses you still have to do and how to get to them (some of them are incredibly obscure, to the point that I didn't even know they existed until 5 years of owning the game).

As for my other projects, I'm currently distracted with Ys IV on the PC Engine, which I am finally figuring out how to rip.

You mean Kima & Orc? I saw their encyclopedia pictures, unfortunately you have to get some specific mana levels to encounter them.

By the way, which encyclopedia pictures does PSicture not load? I'm just not sure about the techniques, but the others should be fine:
