i recently tried to rip the models with dxripper but the game wont start up with dxripper, do you guys know why ?
if not: are there other ways to rip models from this game?

I googled a bit for 'Soul Reaver 2' and as it appears, there is currently no tool to extract the models from the game. But there is someone on the Eidos forums, who wrote a model viewer for Soul Reaver 1 and is working on support for the sequel. Check out this thread (his last post is from march though):
