Beat the game and googled for "Grandia" after that:

It seems the portraits were already ripped, but they are resized, use a different palette and are edited (for example: they "corrected" a few lines from Justin's chin). They also miss Gontz' portrait (the Garlyle Soldier at the Sult Ruins who is Gantz' & Tentz' older brother).
Nevertheless, I compared my sheet with their collection and found out that I miss four portraits (Justin, Sue, Nicky & Leen). I will get them when I have time, here is the latest version of the sheet:

This is the final boss of the game with both appearances (Gaia Core, Evil Gaia) and his two minions while you fight the Gaia Core (Mega Gaia).

The VRAM file was chaotic, therefore I sorted all of his walk frames into one row for each direction, but not in the correct order. Now I have to figure out how this guy moves =/

Ripped a few battle sprites and arranged his walk cycle, but I have to check it with Animget anyway. Especially the direction where you can only see his cloak was nearly impossible, I've got no idea about the order.
A main problem is that VRAM doesn't show everything, only a few bits. I wonder if there's a better method to get his sprites.

Not really, Tile GGD and Tile Molester are also using savestates and can only display things which are within a savestate.
