The sea, a strange and wonderful place where awkwardly named marine life exist.

Still working on it, gonna add some animations and tinker with the shading an stuff.

I've updated the OP. Maximum size is 128x128!

128x128? Welp. I'm not making mine any bigger than 96x96. I've barely started because I SUCK AT LINE ART. I honestly just made a careful scribble of the general body shape and will try to work with it I guess. I think that's what most everyone else does? I don't have enough done to show yet, sorry.

I have a rudimentary crab lineart down , I will start refinements and shading tomorrow. I cant work anymore today.

Not bad for a day's work. I thought it would be fun to try and emulate the Earthbound style, but ended up departing from that for readability sake. Still needs much work, of course.

just a suggestion, you might want to make it's right claw stand out more from its body with more depth.

I think it looks spectacular, but I would tone down the lightest shade of blue a little if I were you.
