wait really
air doesn't have anything?
i mean sure air had THE Avatar in the first cartoon and the air tribe had a fuckin HOLOCAUST before they could develop special abilities like every other tribe did later on
but come on really......

metal and lightening are new but not sand or swamp
their civilization has still been around long enough to have SOMETHING and there several hints and implications that soundbending/amplifaction can be or is a sub
also that was just for listing purposes, and lightening was made just from firebenders copying waterbending style so with like one skilled airbender left its bound to change a bit and opens possibilities in Korra

Was blood bending widely used? I only remember it being used by the creepy old bitch in the woods.

The premiere of the Thundercats was pretty good. I liked it anyway.

well yeah katara used it in the episode she learned it and then like one more after so its just her and the witch
but its pretty much the same as bending plants like huu only, you know on people on animals

pretty sure katara used bloodbending on some soldiers in the finale but that was the only other time
07-29-2011, 09:12 PM
edit: nope just checked she used it on Hama, and on the fleet admiral she mistook for her mom's killer, not in the finale.
a ninja based group of airbenders would be perfect as air as an element's destructive properties and such were never explored by the monks
but due to the killer and silent nature of ninjas sound bending would fit perfectly and it would be so drastically different in form and style too
and they're ninjas so the firenation would never find them its perfecto

Eh, I thought it was ok. I like Lion-o's new look, they killed off Pantho and made snarf an even dumber cat (though this is much less annoying so thats good I guess)

Panthro's original look will always be #1, but snarf was alright.
Still though, this shit did justice for the original, was a lot better than I expected. I grew up watching TC, so them keeping most of the themes and keeping the same style was a nostalgic blow for me. Also Claudius being voiced by old Lion-o and Jaga being badass still was awesome.
Lion-o's thundercat call was on-point too.

there were a few parts where the dubbing was kinda off like when kit and kat were eating and when snarf looked into the crystal
still it's already far better than the old one
"haha lion-o you loser technology dosen't exist"

When Panthro pulled that knife out I shat bricks. I was all like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
