Oh right, Windows. Heh. Haven't checked Win8 yet, but I bet they don't accept PNG wallpapers there, either. A shame, especially since Windows officially supports PNG since Vista (icon files can store PNG data since then for icon sizes up to 256x256 px).
Dumbos could at least enable 32bit bitmaps wallpapers! Its not like we were short of harddrive space nowadays.

Windows 8 is just like Windows 7 with some fancy stuff. Nothing really important
