Even if it did, I don't want a shitstorm in this thread.

okay, so it's clearly alright to brag that you're in a different country.
good job child, we should be more concerned about where we are in the world and not give a shit about how bad this is. After all it's not like this shit can't happen in the country of ________ right?

Really? You hope that a riot just subsides for your own selfish needs? I detest the attitude of people like you. "OH GEE THERE'S AN UPRISING IN EGYPT I SURE HOPE IT'S OVER BEFORE I GO ON VACATION THERE NEXT WEEK."
Hmm, way to misread a post. All I was saying, if it affects you that much, is that what is happening there is godawful and that because I spend 9 months a year there, I'm lucky not to be affected. I am lucky to be in France too, but that is in no way a brag, it's simply an elaboration on my statement.
Many regrets if you took my post the wrong way, even if I at a loss as to why this has happened!

Leave tykel alone, they are being fair. I leave or France on Sunday, and I wish I left last week instead. I don't want to be here either.
So it seems London has calmed down, now it's all across other cities in the uk, mostly Manchester and Birmingham.

That video of those guys going through that injured kids bags makes me sick.
People like that don't deserve to live in a civilized society.

Dang, ABC News was talking about it just now. I saw things like those people turning over trash cans and trying to push over a truck and stuff and the fire looked terrible.
This needs to get better soon...

Quote:A BBC producer has reported 100 young men stood in Church Street, Enfield, north London, have vowed to "defend the streets".
About three hundred people have gathered in Southall, west London, intent on protecting religious buildings and businesses.
Just read about this. It's pretty courageous and warrants a huge amount of respect.
I can't say I'd be daring enough to stand up to all those rioters. These people are an inspiration.

It sounds like it it's lightening up, at least in some areas. People are going out with brooms and cleaning up after the riots.

It's good to see these glimmers of hope after videos of those scum having ruined bits of humanity.

I should apologize as well, My reasoning for acting out the way I did was uncalled for. It was foolish on my part.

Today I had a front row seat (Window of my house) To the Salford riots today, The police in The UK need to be armed, Not that Captain America bullshit they've had to make do with. On THE BILL (UK COP SHOW) the swat had guns...
Also when I was out some guy broke into a newsagents and cut his arm to shreds and cried and screamed "call an ambulance!" Rioters should get no medical attention, they'd prolly brick the ambulances though.
I wanted to go out with a Bo staff and show them what's what...
Mom said no.

It's pretty easy to get taken in by the excitement; but I would seriously never consider going into a situation like that no matter how good I think I am at martial arts; unless you're specifically going out with other people and not by yourself.

You must understand that people who come from a place were the police shoot criminals all the time might look at this and be dumbfounded.
