It must be a sign of my newbescense that CO2 says "all you have to do," and I squirm uncomortably because I have never done it before.
its the very first step into leaving your diaper behind.

Worked on my pose a little longer, Ever, your idea is wonderful, and no, it isn't too violent, it is a lightbulb, but as you may have noticed while working on the feet, I can't reveal their bottoms, the pallatte isn't extensive enough.
@Dio: It looked sort of alien with a more lightbulb-shaped head, so I am going with a slightly less realistic but more visually appealing version.

Make your palette bigger.
You have to redraw the bulb, because it isn't a perfect sphere.

(Looks at bulb shape, realizes Chris is right, slaps self in face)
OK, it was supposed to be a circle, I guess I made the top symetrical to the bottom, which is supposed to be cut off by the body. Anyhow, I think I've fixed that now, thanks. Also, I am working on this for Gors's game, and he has a preset pallatte, so I can't change it (the pallatte is in the bottom right corner). I have also added more detail to the damage pose, considering making him as Ever did to an extent.

It still doesn't look right. The girth of the screw part is inconsistent, too.

Is this better?

Yes, but change the outline of that bulb!

I re-attempted to make the head a circle, I think I suceeded, but I might just redo the whole overall shaping and shading, because now it looks off.
EDIT: the kicking and old damage pose were not changed, as they will not be used.

I don't even think you should bother with coloring it right now, I think your primary focus should just be the outline.
That redraw you did with the more realistic version of the lightbulb was perfectly fine so I don't know why you tried to use the circle shape again.

I still think it makes him look alien when he has such a long "neck," but I might give him a stubby one just so that he looks a tad less like a ball on a cone, as you stated earlier.

I don't really understand what's so "alien" about it.
I mean, it's a light bulb. It's not like it's supposed to have human anatomy because that's just silly.

Well, the shape of it.

No, I mean that it looks wrong on the body.
