Thanks, but I can do it myself. But I'm a little worried about the animations.

Are the people telling you how to make their characters? Or are you just doing it for them?

I'm a bit iffy on that animation, tbh
first off, chainsaws are insane things and they vibrate. Have it shake a whole ton while it's shredding up.
Second, chainsaws usually have a second handle on the back for a much more secure grip. The way she's holding it now is a bit awkward since there should be absolutely no way for something like that to be perfectly flat while having a free-to-rotate z axis. Add the back grip to it and have her hold it from there; the rev would still work and it would be a much better pose!!

okay, just to clear this up so there are no more questions
Gorsal is spriting the people he is because we won a contest of sorts months ago.
I'm not going to bother to look for the thread but the people who got in were Me, Sol, Jetters, and Gillian.
...and of course Gorsal is spriting himself.
He's making up all the movesets and stuff himself (though with a small amount of community input) but this is -his- project at this point. This is not a community project with full community input; it's Gorsal's project (which robo9 is programming into a game), at least until he specifies otherwise.
This has nothing to do with Gorsal playing favorites or not spriting people or disallowing anyone or something like that; the reason he isn't spriting you as well is simply because you didn't get in and you aren't meant to be in at this point. There was just as much chance of someone else being in instead of me or Sol or Jetters or Gillian. We just happened to be the ones that made it in.
I don't know what Gorsal plans to do when he finishes us five, but until he does HE IS NOT SPRITING YOU. DO NOT ASK HIM TO SPRITE YOU. DO NOT ASK HIM IF HE IS SPRITING OTHER PEOPLE. HE IS NOT.
It's cool if you want to sprite yourself I suppose, but that doesn't necessarily mean you're getting in.
I'll leave the final decision on this to Gorsal, but it'd be cool if you'd take discussion of other characters elsewhere like the lounge or something since honestly, it's pointless at this time. If you want to make your own sprites, make a thread in S&PA, please. Don't post them in here.

Yeah, p. much what viper said.
I am not favouring anyone; I made a contest topic and those four people happened to post in it. I figured that would be fairer than going 'oh i think ill make those people i like'.
I also made myself first not because I'm being egoistical or anything like that; it's easier to work on my own sprites than making others because I know I won't complain about how it looks or how the moves look like. You don't know, but I suffer much more at making others' sprites because I know I have to work doubled so it can please me and the other member.
I'm also limiting the number of characters at the moment because this way I have a better control on what I'm doing. Biting off more than you can chew was the reason of SSB Project's death, and everybody knows it (I know it isn't technically dead, but there hasn't been significative activity in ages). TFR might have a slow pace due to me working on two other projects at the moment (Ai shite keeki, DIG) but there still are updates and content. Once I reach my goal of finising Gillian's sprites, I'll open the thread up so people can add their own sprites here. This way, I know that even if no one else makes sprites, there still will be enough content to whip up a demo game.
I am tired of being the only one working on community projects. See TSRODIUS, for example. I thank for everyone's efforts on the game, but I ended up making like, 80% of all the game's elements. That's not right. I am not the only capable spriter in tSR. We just need to talk less and make more, this is why I divided this topic in two parts, one for actual development, another for ideas.
So if you want something in this game, just do it. Don't just sit and wonder when someone will make it for you. I am not mad or anything, but figured I could share this with all of you. Let's not kill another TSR project again.
about the animation, I was thinking about adding more frames but that would surpass the 4-frame limit for each animation.
I'll see if I can make something more elaborated with one more frame.

I just want to say something.
This isn't /just/ Gors's project. It may be constantly referred to as such because he has had the most to show progress wise, but it's a joint effort between me and him. He doesn't have the complete final say on what goes in the game, and neither do I. It's a consensus between the two of us. It may seem like I haven't been doing my fair share in the project because I haven't posted much progress, but I assure you I'm not sitting at home goofing around twiddling my thumbs. I actually have a good chunk of the engine finished, and I'm waiting for everything to be sprites to begin the little teaser trailers featuring characters. However I just want to say, this isn't exclusively Gors's project and I'm just coding it, but it's both of ours project.

oh yeah, I forgot to emphasize that robo9 is also a key part on this project. Without him, you could very well say goodbye to this project. We're doing all we can to make this project a reality, and if everything goes as planned, you'll all have a demo soon!
(robo9's sprites are on the works too!)
I am also going to make a poll about Gillian's presence in this game. Check it out here.

Ummm. Why is everyone voting no to Gillian being in the game? What's the problem?
EDIT: I just read the OP, but still, I don't think that would be fair to just leave her out. I know I wouldn't want to be thrown out because of inactivity...

I'd rather have members who people enjoy for the most part than a member who's left and was at the center of many heated debates.

Well yeah, but it just doesn't feel right for some reason. But whatever the poll results end up being are what's going to happen anyway.

I mean, I talk to Gillian on Skype and Facebook, so it's not like I'm spiting her, it's just I don't feel she should be in this game
Once again, I love these new smilies omg.

it's not a matter of hate, but a matter of having someone that doesn't frequent tSR in a tSR game.
