Oh god, noted.
This also reminds me of the Death glitch in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. That sucked.

that was the WW timeline however.
bear in mind that there is more than one timeline in the zelda series, and there isn't a true consistency to show that demise's curse has died in one single timeline.

I'm fairly surprised none of the beta testers caught on to this during it's development.

So Ganon is apparently the embodiment of demise's hatred, but were did demise and the demons come from? I'm glad it's finally explained why he keeps appearing in the games though, because of demise's curse and not some divine prank.
I hope the next game is about the hero that has to break the curse.
They came from inside the planet. It says that a few times in the game. As for breaking the curse, WW kinda took care of that.
Also that bug is crazy. I'm glad I did the Thunder Dragon quest last.

Stand back... Rant time!
That explanation for Ganondorf pissed me off so freaking much! Especially after they seemed to give him depth in the Wind Waker!I was always hoping Ganondorf had some deep reasoning for his hatred. But nope, destiny says he's got to be evil because fucking destiny says so!
Then again should I really be surprised that Nintendo doesn't make complex characters with real reasons for the things they do?
Still... Fuck! This pissed me off more than anything! Zelda series always annoyed me for forcing characters into roles instead of the characters making these decisions on their own... But now you're fucking telling me that being good or evil is predestined too! That really makes me mad!
That's it. Its official. No one in the Zelda series has a soul. They are all puppets. Soulless puppets who feel only what destiny tells them to feel, and do only what destiny tells them to do.
Fuck you, Nintendo! I can't believe it! This is the first time I'm actually saying this ever... Fuck you Nintendo. You make characters we want to love and then kill their souls!

Hold up the curse only explains the creation of ganon (or rather the entity that would become ganon).
Ganondorf's origin is completely separate. It is very possible that his involvement with demise was just a side effect of gaining the triforce of power.
He is still a character with his own complex reasoning for feeling the way he does (explained in wind waker), and probably would have attempted to rule hyrule with the curse existing or not.
Link on the other hand is pretty much a complete tool

if there is one thing that we should know about the zelda series by now it is that every "legend" in the series is 100% accurate

Hey, let's not fight over Zelda timelines. Thanks.
