Now that is really cool, but who is it supposed to be (if anyone particular)?
love the rest of your sprites, are you planning on making more Pocket Monster Hunters?

That handsome fellow is Yours Truly, me. It's for my resume.
I have no plans for PMH, but that doesn't mean I've abandoned the quest. Might do more whenever I feel like it.

Behold, the originallest creation ever! It's Badedit the Hedgehog (originalcharacterdonotsteal). He has the same abilities as Sonic, but stronger and has eyelasers and time-space control. He was banned from The Fighters Resource for being too awesome broken.
really though, this is quite funny, and you should post it in the tFR topic.

Those MonsterHunter pocket monsters are awesome!
I can totally see them in a game!

Another tFR style sprite. It's scrap, but worth sharing.
It's Demonlord Shinzo, the demon manekineko from the Dark World who happens to be the father of Evil King Waru.

It's Bracchidios, the flagship monster of Monster Hunter 3 G.

You carried on the Pocket Monster Hunter sprites! And they look excellent.
Shinzo looks good apart form no shading for shadows. He could be an amazing assist, materializing in the middle of a fray and using that golden platter to scatter the enemy it to many, many pieces

I tried shading it, but then it started to look out-of-style. Could have been the contrast, though.
What he's holding isn't a golden platter. Like I said, he's a manekineko, so what he's holding is a lucky amulet (or in this case, an unlucky amulet). It does jack squat.
He does leak infinite power, which form into crystals. The Trouble Tori were crafted from these crystals, but Shinzo himself uses 3 large chunks to fire lightning bolts. Small pieces replace the fishcakes in Bouncy Cat Mao as collectables, which are needed to enter the Dark World.
Anywho, I already have an assist character, or rather a duo, Splot and Bolt. It wouldn't make sense to have more of my characters than Gors' in tFR.
Attempt at shading it. Had to pick other colors to get the contrast right.

Nice! I really like the tilesets, and the Pokemon have some good designs! Unlike that new crappy stuff, like Trubbish and Garbador.
Just one thing, on the Barioth, the color of red on the teeth bothers me. It is probably just me, but I just wanted to bring it up.

They have good designs, because Capcom designed them. It's therefore their fault Barioth has red, or as it's called in-game, amber tusks.

I meant to ask.
Will you be submitting these pocket monsters?

The shading looks great, its a shame you couldn't keep the origninal shade though, but its amazing what your able to do with such restrictions Nick.

I could submit them as Monster Hunter Tri Pokémon G/S/C sprites with bonus monsters, since I already have all the big monsters from said game, plus bonus monsters. I could compile a sheet once I've done all small monsters from Tri.
Have some Uroktor.
And some Ludroth while I'm at it.
Rhenoplas! Hunting a big monster? He's the one to put the salt in your wounds!
