Full Version: Anything like TiledGGD that has editing functionality?

(First, I'd like to apologize in advance in case this is considered a request. From reading the rules for the request forum, I get the impression that's for sprite rip requests and the like, so this seems permissible.)

So I'd like to do some basic sprite editing for Prinny 2 (PSP) and then reinject the sprites back into the ISO (more because it's fun than because I have an actual goal). The sprites aren't encrypted/obfuscated beyond being in NISPack format, which I found a Ruby script that (apparently) repacks them, and the sprites are easily viewable in TiledGGD. My only issue is that I have no way of actually... editing... beyond painfully hex editing every byte I want to edit, which, while it works, is not exactly what you'd call efficient.

SO. I tried using TileMolester (which can edit sprites evidently), but my brains blackhole'd and I now have a gravitational singularity within my cranium. (I couldn't figure it out after fiddling with all the options for 20 minutes.)

I can't think of a way to save the sprites to a format I could read with paint.net or something without making it impossible to get them back to a format where I could inject them back into the iso.

If I REALLY can't figure anything out, I could try to open up the source for tiledggd and maybe make a crappy implementation of a editing feature since it's basically just glorified hex editing.

Tl;dr: does anyone know of a program I could use that isn't TileMolester to edit sprites in their raw form without saving them to a container format first?

Thanks.
