It looks fine, but I find the sprite style outdated. There are superior Sonic Sprite styles nowadays, like Modern style, that look better. It's not bad on its own, though it's a light edit.

That style still has a huge fanbase behind it. Go over to the Mystical Forest Zone (MFZ) and look at the sprite archives and the sprite comics on that site. They love the S3&K sprite format.
then upload it there. problem solved.
Well, Plokman decided to post his work here. Not submitting ('cuz it's in the wrong section), but for critique.

My personal critique (on the sprites, 'cuz this is a sprites forum and not a which-sonic-version-is-better-rant nor a ugh-I-hate-all-comic-versions-of-Sonic-rant forum):
He's missing the helmet and the tail. Just sayin'.

Plokman didn't want the helmet, and I forgot the tail...
the only real critque that could be applied to this is simple: its an sprite edit of sonic 3. a bad edit of sonic 3, with all that implies: its not even a good edit, but rather a lazy recolor with minor modifications to the original base.

it even lacks the distintive features of the character, wich are the helmet and the tail. and to be able to add such elements to the sprite would require a much elaborated work that would ultimately result in a complete overhaul of the original sprite(not to mention, a complete study of the sprite's artwork) to keep things in style. without these, its just a yellow sonic witho short quills.

wich is the main problem with most if not all of the sonic sprite edits we have seen thru the years.

all in all, i am not seeing any kind of interest from op to rather improve, rework or at least consider any modification to this. its purely a showcase, and for that reason, i dont see why this should continue open.

I agree with you... (But, like I said before, I forgot the tail, the helmet was not wanted.) Also, I didn't plan on working on this anymore... Plokman is the one who wanted to post it and I shouldn't have agreed. I figured this would be the reaction to a sonic edit. Sorry about that, feel free to do whatever with this thread...
