I think you have to open it with a virtual drive like Daemon Tools and then extract the file from there.
I have MagicIso (DaemonTools doesn't work on my PC), but it doesn't recognize the .cso as a CD image and fails to mount it.
This is the PSP emulator DevHook, but as far as I can see, it isn't able to extract the .cso into a .bin or .iso.

I will now try to download the iso version of the ROM, I hope I can find something. Then I could mount it and extract the files.
yeah, it works =)
Found the iso, mounted it with MagicIso and pulled the ff2_data into the ff12div window. With this, everything got extracted.
Now I'm using the other tools to extract these files, like the .gim extensions with GIM2PNG. I will try a little bit around, but the gim files so far are just screencaps:
Thanks, but now I'm clueless about the ACG files. According to the thread, they should come with ACL files where the palettes are stored. But I didn't found these in the data of my rom and without palettes for TileMolester/TileGGD, it's impossible to get the proper sprites out of it.
Hey Deathbringer, do you still have the archive from Carpaccio? If yes, would you mind to upload the ACL files from it?
I don't have them anymore.
---
Look for BG00.acg and then change the "Arrange Icons By" to "Name". If you're not seeing the acl next to it, then maybe the one I found was different.
---
Okay, I've found them. They are called "Auto Correct List Files".
Thanks to Deathbringer for the help with Tile Molester, didn't know that installing Java was neccessary to run this tool.
Now that I have the acg file with the correct palette (edited the XML file and imported the .acl), there's another problem:

Palette seems to be right, but how can I arrange this properly?
Nevermind, the palette was wrong because I've played with the arrows around before importing the acl file.
This is the correct one:

Looks almost correct, I will try a little bit more.
Press the + key a couple of times.
You are pressing the one on the numpad, right?
Unfortunately, both are doing nothing.
I said TiledGGD, which is the version Barubary made,
here.
Do I need some special programs to get it to work? It isn't starting up.
Edit:
Quote:Because of the used Lua interpreter, you will probably need the most recent VisualC++ runtime libraries to use the Lua plugins. You can download them here
I guess it's this one.
Edit2:
Nope, still not working. It says, like before:
