also, josh, the up air is basically squirtle doing a front flip, but when he is half way through the flip, his tail flicks upward.

No problem, all the previous Mushroomy Kingdoms from PT didn't fit the style. And there was only one, and it was a 3D model.

better for the blue part?
imo it got worse, i can do better tomorrow and will fix the yellow as well

it was better before the reshading IMO, the only problem with the first one was that the shading needs to stay the same, not turn when the thing spins (for the yellow)
and the contrast on the blue needs to be upt and use the newwer shading for the wings
and seletive-outlining
(i hope that makes sense :/)
