Made Mario's hat.

I used the hat to the right for reference. It's still a W.I.P.

C+C would be really appreciated.

Its hard to say much at an early stage, but there are some jagged outlines.

Namely on the bill.

the little back... part there looks too small vertically like it got squashed or something but only that part
make it taller

It's a good start..Viper pointed out the main thing that came to my mind.
I almost want to say I'm seeing these faint radiating lines in it..maybe a part of the gradient you used?

The back of the hat has a straight diagonal line and it's pretty distracting. Try to smooth it out. The brim really needs some reshaping too. I think it's at the wrong angle, and it doesn't look even throughout.
