Time for Ant and I to finish up a project I've been meaning to get around to for a very long time.

These games also have a LOT of unused things that we may or may not be able to find. If you think of something we've forgotten, please let us know!
Maybe when I'm done with M&L
iT, I might try something easy here. I'll claim it when I know what it is. Also for anyone who plans on ripping the playable Kongs, you can refer to my GBA Kong rips since those should be complete. Good luck!
Hit a bit of a snag. All the water enemies in DKC3 have the water effect over them, so their palette is all messed up. :/
So even when you remove the layers, the water palette still stays?
Exactly. It happens with the Kongs as well. Kind of odd.
Well, time to see what items were re-used for DKC3. Bananas, bunches, DK coin, probably some barrels, KONG letters...
Just got all the NPC screens for DKC2. Now to rerip Mario and Yoshi since Bacon's sheet is incomplete...
Are you gonna post the sheets here for everyone to see?
You gonna get Link on that sheet as well?
Link has a complete sheet that was ported over from TSGK. And yeah, I'll post sheets when they become complete.
EDIT: Fixed the first post.

That's true, but I figured if you ripped him as well, there would be someone to give credit to. The sheet from TSGK has a nameless ripper.
I suppose. We'll see.
I'll be doing the others anyway...
Ant, we should streamline the sheets at some point so we don't have repeated sprites. For instance, the KO sprites and the "hit ground from throw" are the same sequence, so we only need it once. It'll make things easier all around.
Time to beat DKC2 now. Haven't done it in a while... especially on a keyboard. Let's see how dexterous I am.
Quick note; In all games, the main characters have 2 palettes in addition to these.
DKC1;
Lead, Buddy, Night, Night Buddy
DKC2;
Lead, Buddy, Blue, Red, Purple (K. Rool), BRP Buddy
DKC3;
Lead, Buddy, Underwater, Underwater Buddy
Am I missing anything?
I completely agree with you. Once everything is done I'll rearange it proper
