A year? Wow, if you can work on something for that long than instant respect right there.
Yeah there's a lot of sprite work done and to be done and all the programming, coding, designing - I'm not likely to drop that much work and start with something else. There's tons of lines of code... and the engine still isn't completely done. Haven't even startet with implementing events, story, characters, enemys...
