according to a comment on the video, this son is related to Brazil in the form of being a Cultural Rythm.(?)
So this series has like the best music ever or something?
WARNING: INCOMING SUPER SERIOUS POST
this song is fucking gorgeous. i first heard it through gorsal's mmc5 cover, and it piqued my interest. dreamer single-handedly got me into the streets of rage series, which got me into beat-'em-ups.
when i listen to it, any problems on my mind just vanish, and i'm left feeling like i can accomplish anything. it's such an empowering piece of music--but then again, so are a lot of tracks in the streets of rage trilogy.
i've heard plenty of remixes and arrangements, but nothing ever quite captures the same feel of the original.
everybody. listen to this song.
I don't really know if these count as VG music or not, but since they're originals from two games (Pop'n Music 19 and Guitarfreaks/Drummania XG respectively), I guess so.
Basically, everything Gekidan Record does is beyond incredible:
I discovered this one today, loved it instantly:
I've finally found the music from this game.
I love that one too! I actually managed to get the perfect Mansion after hours of resetting. XD

It's surprising just how short the game really is. It never felt like that as a kid, but replaying it just a few months ago I was shocked when I had it done in two nights.
Heavy Rain has always been pretty high in my books for game music, along with Broken Sword... I have all the Suikoden soundtracks, but that's probably just because of nostalgia.
Not as good as the Team Plasma music, but still pretty nice.
Wellp. It took me till today to find this, I could have gone forever without it.
Metal Slug Evolution isn't exactly the greatest Metal Slug game or anything, but as per any Metal Slug game, the music is awesome.
No, it's not my favorite music. But it's up there.
