Does this look too unusual

Maybe start the tail a bit lower?
Kind of looks like it's bouncing on something solid.
This better?
Edit:
Can this count for my Midnight Moe?
I really put a lot of effort in that hair
space knight zorgyll!
i probably won't go anywhere with this, i just like spriting in this style.
Yesh
I think this looks better
Maybe you should make it more shocked.
I doubt an animal would be pleasantly suprised to be turned into a girl..
Ploaj would
But maybe he'd be shocked at first

Especially after the Marvin Gaye kicks in
My first sprite in... about a month I think :V
How is it?
I'm not too happy with the eyes. I'm going to be changing those.
After song starts
Now moving on
Edit:
Frozen
Trying to get some easy ones out of the way.
Duck
I know it's a bit boring and stale but I can't think of anything especially since he's smaller than the strawberry.

You managed to fit a lot of detail into the sprite, that's for sure. But a lot be can taken out because it feels like there's way too much stuff going on. For firsts I suggest removing a lot of black outline inside of it, and easy up on the shading. Easy up so much you barely have any. It also feels like his pose isn't really fighting ready. So yeah, simplify. I would feel so bad too see you already making animations when the basic sprite has more potential to fit cleanly with the style.
@Gaia:
Something tells me you're trying way to hard. I could be wrong. It wouldn't hurt to show at least how one sprite is supposed to look. Just don't end up complicating things.
@Ekoi:
You see where on I the eyes are different sizes due to angle. I suggest going with that. I also suggest redoing the hair bangs so it doesn't look so chunky.
@Ploaj:
Oh my goodness. Well one things for sure, you simply must have more going on that just the tail swaying. Make 'em bob up and down. Kids love that.
and about the feet, level them. I think the style calls for leveled feet.
Luckily the only other frame I made is extremely easy to fix
The pose is to reflect my seemingly lazy nature, but a lot of rangers are very quick so he'll assumedly just be a fast attacker.
Okay so I'm wondering, are their any specifics for the Spritality? I have something in mind but it's kinda hard to explain. I mean, I wouldn't mind spriting it for fun even if it's turned down, I just want to know of any specifics if I have to make something else.
Finished with status effects
I am afraid to say Ploaj is exactly Ekoi's opposite.
Your character is so small, it wouldn't be fair to fight against you. Projectiles, punches and kicks wouldn't connect, which would cause problems.
