Conceptually I do like that though, Chaoxys. Kinda reminds me of certain One-Hit Kills from Guilty Gear where instead of getting an explosive effect on screen you just get a still-frame or bigger illustration with some effects added. I think if the engine would allow it that would be cool to use.
blu, it's nearly 3 o'clock in the morning. why on earth are you making sprites?
because i've lost control of my life.
*insert angelica laughing here*
Am I seeing this right, do both of those animations use the same frames just in a different order?
Hm, I'm liking the new eyes.
I guess I'll start making animations now.
Changed the pose to look more serious
Changed his design ever so slightly because I felt like it (and because I dont want to animate the bandanna later on
)
Aaand some minor palette adjustments (different dark purple and green pants instead of blue ones because the green contrasts better with purple)
Now to think of a decent moveset

Well, as soon as I get an okay from whoever is programming the game, I'll continue with it I guess. In the mean time I guess I'll make the rest of the sheet.
Btw, how do status based attacks work? I was somewhat tempted to make an attack that uses the Hand of Midas (since it's a key item in the game i've been working on for 5+ years and I've shown here many times), to turn the opponent into gold. The actual effect would just temporarily cause them to freeze or something, it wouldn't be too strong. I guess if nothing else I could use that as my spritality.
that could work as a spritality or Sub-Zero's ice shot thing (I'd go for the latter, it allows more strategies imo)
the reason I didn't include a lot of status ailments is that because there's a lot of characters, I feared that there would be a lot of those. So I limited them to frozen, brunt, strawberry and as spritality, Midnight Moe.
If everything goes alright, though, we could use those status ailments.
So wait, should I have it as a normal attack or as my Spritality? Sorry, I got a bit mixed up while reading your post.
Also, I'm guessing that means the rocket spritality won't work?
Depends on what you mean by "it would need some effects"
Lets see...
-transparent to fade out for the character arts.
-lighting for the firework (this can probably be cheated around somehow)
And... idk for the firework itself, I guess it wouldn't be an effect, but the way it would appear. I don't know how to actually make that look convincing.

almost. they have different contact frames. otherwise, those animations use the same frames just in a different order.
Idle. I guess it's pretty decent considering that I'm terrible at animating things
It's my dad's birthday today so I'm working kinda slow on this
Gors, is it ok if I just use the Midnight Moe you did?
Because I have no idea what I could do for that

I think there needs to be a "little" movement in the right arm(Our left)
i'm cookin up an assist!!
he shows up, picks from one of the three non-top-hat hats (at random) and something happens depending on the hat he gets.
choices are billycock, nurse cap, and hard hat, and i'm looking for crits on those specific hats. (especially the nurse hat)
