All it's supposed to be is a cute puffy blue ghost guide. He was going to be like Navi from LoZ, but not annoying.
@Meta: Well, that's why I tried giving him a scarf, but a "Blue shapeless fart" isnt necessrily a bad thing by itself if properly worked.
@ Ploaj: Thanks! But he is still in the designing stage, I think he needs more before I am ready to shade/animate him.
EDIT: After pasting him on my slopsheet, I realized that you made some changes to the lineart in the body that I love, and will probably keep(unless I make drastic changes to the body again), so thanks again.
If you want you could just add your new designs onto to mine.

Don't you think you're taking our personal discrepancies too far by hating on everything I make just because I made it? It's getting ridiculous.
Hooves down.
In case anyone cares I fixed (atleast I think) the lines that might have looked weird.

That makes Kirby with little to no design qualities other than he's pink. I, Metaru, think that belts n' zippers designs are far more creative. Oh, those Organization 13 Hoods too.
Sarcasim aside, I don't think that was really needed. This is a community project to encourage creativity, not the other way around.
Kirby's creativity isn't on what he is, but on what he does.
His creativity is in the fact that he can take abilities of enemies, its moves, personalities in games he's starred on. He is a ball with stubs for limbs, but he's still creative for that.
Now a blue blob that floats around only to serve as meatshield really doesn't show much creativity.
His character can probably do more but a meatshield is just what his assist could be..
If for the sake of being more creative he could do something else.
Well he could swirl around an opponent, stunning them with directions and hints on how to beat the "dungeon"(Don't think Steam Punk free roams have those hehe)?? Like he'd annoying to enemies, I mean I could probably think up a moveset, but he'd be similar to Phantom K, and he'd work much better as an assist.
He could distract the opponent (so he/she faces away from you) by giving him/her hints that are useless in tFR. This gives you the opportunity to strike hard.
not to say we'd be better not to think on things that aren't that important yet.
lets focus on character animations and levels, so robo9 can whip up a demo soon.

Either way I revamped it a little for you
Edit:
Just made better proportions
I despise being late...
Anyway, I really like the new head you have on him, but I don't like the body... he looks like a humanoid light bulb now, which isn't all that cute TBH.
Yea I liked the old design better but it's whatever Zadaben wants to do
Oh, the possibilities for the Blue guy are pretty ranged, I thought of him as a storm spirit, before I was told to make him a meatshield I was going to have him be a character with various cloud-related attacks involving raining down on his enemies, ice breath, lightning attacks, blowing his enemies away, using his then-existant scarf as hands to punch his foes, and do a lot of other stuff, I had a whole moveset in my head.. Im just doing what Action B wants me to do eith him, which at present is making him give useless hints. Also my lightbulb is still a WIP, his design is not final.

ADDITION: Gors, should in-game speech bubbles look like the ones in your extras sheet, or would they look different?
Shouldn't you finish your own character before you start others'? Because at this rate you won't finish any :I
I'm saying this out of experience by the way, I know what it's like to want to do so many things but fall flat on my face. I've done it many times.
