@LegostormJ
No... please don't say you suck, it does nothing and helps nobody you can always improve your spriting with patience and practice >.<
As for your sprites, none of them are in style, the smoke effect looks rather lazy, and you'd just be better off redoing them.
There is a tutorial on the first page showing you how to sprite in this style and anyone here will be glad to assist you if you need help.
Happy Spriting
@Zadaben
I don't see where your going with that. Isn't it suppose to be a flamingo stance? I think he should be slightly swaying back and forth on one leg and his hands just move to keep balence.
Sorry if anything in this post sounded mean or annoyed because I am a bit annoyed and tired right now :p
I like the new assertive Ploaj!
I am going to echo what was just said though.
LegostormJ: I don't even know what the sprite is and the explosion looks like a gray blob. I suggest Redoing it and really focusing on the tutorial and style for TFR. Ploaj is right about the practice thing, keep trying and you will eventually get it.
Zadaben: The pose looks really weird and unnatural. I suggest trying a new pose. I know you've had to redo your character many times so you may not want to but I think a new, balanced pose would be much better.
@robo, his leg is supposed to be sgtretchy, too and is doing that so he can reach near the end of his box without wasting frames stretching further.
@ Ploaj and BZ: Yes, it is a flamingo stance, and the idea is that he has achieved perfect balance, therefore he doesnt sway, also, his arms are moving for the sole purpose of giving him some sort of movement, as a single still frame, although logical for a robot, is not very aesthetically pleasing. @
Would it look better if his arms were in sync?
Like this?
I decided to keep my current style with it but I made the explosion less boring.
I can't even read what your sprite is supposed to be
Are those red eyes on a skin tone? Because at first I really thought it was a red visor with the skin tone being highlights
still bad.
you don't understand the flamingo stance at all.
check this game video (yeah, it's a game video and thus there are innacuracies, but still) and see how flamingo stace is used. (hint: it's kicks)
(Check 1:00 onwards)
The flamingo stance is a good stance to dish out kicks in favor to limiting your movements; plus, it gives the opponent 'lol look at him, he looks so weak standing with only one leg, I bet I could make him trip' feeling.
Now, there are reasons for people to use different fighting styles, be it for preference, power, technique or something else. But another thing that influences your choices of fighting style is the character's characteristics and how it helps in said fighting styles.
Imagine that your fists have two pointy blades which can cause electrical discharges. Which limb would you mainly use for fighting, arms or legs? See where I'm trying to get?
So stop being hellbent on using a martial style that doesn't match with your character just for the hell of it. It looks dumb, nonsense and overall ugly.

Eeeh... well he has red eyes so I don't know what to do about that. XD
Okay, changing poses.
Excellent point by the way.
Quick example of what my assist does.
uh, why the hell is the gif so
*shades*
blown up
YYYYYYYEEEEEEAAAHHHHHHHH
really, use 1x1 pixel ratio instead of a huge gif animation. Also it doesn't animate smoothly as other's sprites. Why does he have a white outline? Why doesn't the bomb animate before exploding? The smoke and explosion could use much more detail. There's so much liveliness you could add with animations, but the product as it is now is kinda lacking imo.
REMEMBER: this is a fighting game. Be creative, be more lively, be more movimented!
That's a perfectly good attack, but the style is way off, try removing the wihite outlines, making him bigger, give him connecting limbs, and shading him a little for starters. I would start from scratch on this if I were you.

I didn't mean for the gif to be so big I used a different animator than I normally use.
The white outline is because these sprites were edited from a game I used to work on that was kinda based off of Paper Mario.
I was planning on adding some sort of animation for the bomb, and the explosion... I suck at explosions. lol
?!?!AH
Zadaben, I think you have three options:
-continue with idle
-continue with other animations
-give up
LegostormJ, I'd remove the white outline.
Update on cat house:
I will absolutely not give up, and I am formulating a new idle/moveset in my head as I type.
Thanks though.
Also I'm loving your stage.
