Repeating this for you Zadaben, the hitler thing is a joke.
I undertand that now, thanks.
What I meant by my previous post was that I didnt know if there was any antagonist, not specifically Hitler, who I now know is a joke.

No it isn't ok.
Gors isn't going to put a character that doesn't follow the style in the game because you're lazy/doesn't want to improve.
You should make your character bigger. Right now I can barely see what it is
Improve your sprites or stop now.
@Solink:
Please don't be so harsh.
I have improved it allot and worked hard on it, this is a good job for my spriting.
Oh and as far as I can tell it is in the same style as the other entries.

He is supposed to be a tiny assist anyway
you're not ready for this son, but thanks for trying. leave your CV on the desk and wait for us to call you.
you're free to use the rest of the forums for futher feedback on whatever you might need feedback on -i.e. stop doing small characters for the sake of being a lazy wanker.
...I did the best I could...
I can't think of anything else to change anyway.
The first step would be getting everything actually in style.
By the way, I don't see how this is lazy or unimproved :/
I'm just popping in here to say
those who are visually uncapable of making sprites for this project,
don't make sprites for this project. Simple as that.
Is it harsh? yes. Will i look like an asshole? maybe. But god-fucking-dammit, ihow do you expect to join this project if you can't even make a 32x32 sprite in style. THAT GOES FOR YOU LEGOSTORM
your character is too small it isn't readable and because of this, it's not likeable nor identifiable. It looks like an ugly midget that drops a flashing black ball. Nothing more. There is no character, there is little to no action, therefore it isn't a good sprite.
of course, people are free to try and all, but I think people should have common sense to notice when they're just slipping and falling over and over again, and accept the fact. Just my two cents.
I'm really sorry for having to be blunt like this but I'm fed up of all this 'i did my best but im lazy...' or 'this fits the style' (when it clearly doesn't) bullshit that has been infesting this topic for a while now.
Also robo9, we need to talk asap. do you have MSN or skype or something? We didn't have enough particular convos to settle the programming stuff and the way this project is going now, it's more than obvious that we need a more firm programming dialogue.
also again, stop biting more than you can chew. Please. This was the main reason none of tsr's projects became true; if you can't sprite for the project, then you could always help by supporting it.
I took advice from ShadeDBZ for the style because i couldn't get it right.
Oh well too bad I wasted my first day of spring break on this sprite sheet.
I thought I was at least the slightest bit good enough for this, ahaha
I accept my loss
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
=m= NO I DON'T I WONT GIVE UP WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
this is not a loss
this is not a competition
THIS IS NOT A SINGLE TIME OPPORTUNITY
just take your time, practice spriting in general, when you get enough technique and experience you can come back, gosh
stop circling this thread like a vulture, talk less, make more. please.
Is this better/more in style? (Still a WIP)
The size is certainly improved, but the scarf is overshaded. Much better in the way of size though.
I would still work on this for a while outside of TFR though.
