If this works then I'm CLAIMING IKE PLEASE!! If it doesn't work for me (chances are it won't
) Then I'll let someone else tackle him

I can always import it and then send the MAX file to ya (which you can then open up in 2010), which will save you the time of having to do so yourself.
But either way, hold on and lemme get a comparison as to why 2010 didn't work with importing for me.
(EDIT: This is what I mean. The one on the top is 2009, and the one on the bottom is 2010. Both were imported from the same DAE file.)
(EDIT 2: Okay, what. I just imported the same DAE again, and it's working...)
(EDIT 3: Yeah, I wouldn't trust 2010 with importing DAEs -- it just buggered up again after I re-imported it without changing any settings...)
(EDIT 4: Oh, and Jigglypuff's eye problem isn't related to multiple UV mapping, but rather a "texture clamp", which has to be fixed through a completely different manner.)
Funny. I can't get 3DS max at all! I can't find a download to it. and I can't afford it
@RTB: Very nicely done on the tutorial! Hopefully that means we can move on to the 20+ fighters left to do on the list.
@Perseus: You got it!
In fact, everyone who has previously claimed a fighter with UV issues gets first dibs on fighters they claimed before the issue was brought up. If you are one of those people, be sure to let us know if you're still up to the challenge, or would rather give up the claim.
I would still like to keep my claims on Jigglypuff and Charizard. If anyone else wants to do Peach, Zelda and whoever else I had before, feel free.
Sorry it took a while, but I finally uploaded the Fighter Effects that have been submitted so far.
Phew! Finally finished the Final Smashes
Cook Kirby
Critical Hit
Landmaster (Wolf)
Also, I am unable to do Ike because I can't find the trial version of 3DS Max 2009 anywhere (also I'm not paying $3000)
RTB, could you import Ike and then send the MAX file to me? (If that's the only way it'll work without 2009)
@Perseus: Very nice job! Those Cook Kirby objects would certainly make nice props.
By the way, the site reached
4000 submissions last night! Yoshi Effects was the lucky 4000th submission.
Hehe, that was mine
YAY! LETS HAVE A MINI PARTY!!! *CAKE*

Jigglypuff
I'll make a new preview image some other time.
I claim Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard effects and Zero Laser, Galaxia Darkness and Aura Storm
I Unclaim Mario. Everyone dodges my question to where I can get 3DS max 2009, and I don't know how to Edit UV's anywhere else :'(
Sorry to hear that. And 3DS Max isn't exactly something you can just casually toss out links for. You might have some luck searching for torrents.
If you change your mind, you get first dibs on him.
