That's a bad attitude to have. Customs are harder than edits or recolours, but the reason you should do them first is precisely BECAUSE they are harder. Making a good custom sprite requires understanding of form, weight, anatomy, shading and colour, among other things. Without these, your edits will only ever look sub-par. While you CAN learn these by editing, it's a lot slower than if you learn them by making custom art.
If you want to learn to make customs I suggest you first study up on some techniques and get some general idea of how to make a custom sprite.
You should have a look at the spriting dictionary and just see the basic structure of a sprite.

just for the sake of judging, I'd give it a 0. It's not a decent sprite whatsoever. But alas, this doesn't really deserve judgement as Bombshell said.

You need to stop crying so much and try improving instead of going 'ill quit :C :C :C'. Go and learn basic stull like shpaes, shading, color theory (you need the basic art knowledges more than anything, as they also pally into pixelart) and we'll help you from there.
feel free to post whatever custom sprite you might want to try. even the simplest one will always be a step foward.

as for now, this thread is dead.
