A broadcast on Channel Paw 1 alarms the former king of evil. The zeppelin ride he rejected in favor of guarding his castle crashed! Waru notices one of the Trouble Tori still lying around in his castle while Princess looks from another room, curious what is going on.
Neko, Mao, Catastrophe, it looks like help will be on its way!
Catastrophe brings the heroes to his former base of operations, the Black Palace. This will function as their HQ until Shinzo is dealt with for good.
It looks like they have an intruder. That rat just never learns.
Thanks for the explanation, and i understand the caution you are using as not to ruin plot, which i appreciate. I also had a suspicioun you where doing something like that while naming the main characters. have you thought of posting a link to this in the Comics resource thread? Anyway, i'm really enjoying the comic so far.
I don't post a link there, because I feel that the Comics Resource should be more community related.
This being based on my games rather than Spriters Resource, it'd be out-of-place there.
In order to secure victory, one Golden Cat is not enough! Can Mao really be the second Golden Cat?
Sorry for the ungodly delay. Kid Icarus and my brother hogging the PC even when he's gone are key factors to the situation.
But here's 44:
Special delivery! Saving the heroes the time and effort to find the 8 demon artifacts, victory is within their grasp.
What's this? It looks like one of our heroes is reacting to the Trouble Tori, but it doesn't look good!
Two Golden Cats face off. It's Golden Neko versus Mao Long!
Noooooooooooo! Nekoooooooooooooo! You fiend!
...Well I wasn't expecting THAT.
Sorry for the delay. Currently I have up to page 50 in pen, so I have 3 pages to color till then.
I will introduce a new, comic-exclusive character on the 50th page, so you can look folward to that, I guess.
While the Trouble Tori turned Mao into the demon Mao Long, he was able to focus his will and control this new form. The two Golden Cats ally, forming what they expect to be Shinzo's nightmare.
From the Dark World, a diabolic figure has observed the conflict and resolve of the Golden Cats. It's Demon Lord Shinz-wait a minute! Two eyes!? I have seen those eyes before... It's Hazumi in Shinzo's body! It's Shizumi!
It appears that it was his plan to turn Mao into a demon and get rid of his nemisis. With two of the darkest figures combined, are two Golden Cats even enough?
Also, random Shishkabob the Hedgehog.
The Light World and Dark World are like the two sides of a coin. In order to travel between both worlds, one must pass through the Gray Zone. The Gray Zone is the equalivant of the coin's edge.
If this world looks familiar: Congratulations, you have beaten Evil King Catastrophe in Bouncy Cat Mao.
Just one more page until 50. What will there be in store?
49 pages ago, Princess woke Neko up for their picnic at the newly opened Bouncy Park.
During the 49 pages of adventure, Neko was robbed by Waru (Evil Eagle form), attacked by Balloon Dragon, tested by Catastrophe, sunk by Whaloon, he defeated and befriended Waru, turned super, faced and defeated Hazumi (Chimera form), saved the Light World from Yami Shinzo, had a picnic with Princess, Waru and Catastrophe, got invited to a blimp ride, met the Hero of the Past, Mao, got ambushed by Bistro and Peridot Dragon, took shelter in Catastrophe's former base of operations, Black Palace, almost got killed by a beserking Mao Long as Golden Neko and followed Catastrophe into the Hallway of the Gray Zone.
Now, at page 50, a mysterious new and exclusive foe appears. Shizumi's ultimate weapon: Neko's gem doppelganger, Neki!
Golden Neko destroyed Chimera Hazumi in one hit, but Neki delivers serious damage in a single kick! What is the secret behind his amazing power?
In a failed attempt to use the Trouble Tori, Bistro gets bored and decides to catch up with our heroes. Will he be useful or will he be in the way?
