Can't we just name the earth after a roman deity like all the other planets?

But what about Poseidon? Or a variation on that name? Its fitting for a watered down planet like this.

Poseidon is greek

besides if we had planets named after greek gods then that name would have already been taken because Neptune is the Roman Poseidon.

Gaia is a good name

Gaia isnt a bad name either.... We have lotsa nature on earth

Or how about:
3rd Rock from the Sun.

Gaia kind of makes sense since that technically means earth in a way.
