not sure if it's looked down on around here to make a "hurr hey guize im a total noob XDDDD" thread. but here we go. this is the first piece of pixel art that i've actually tried on. i'd appreciate critiques, i realize that i saved it as a jpg and not a png, also no selout. but this is how we learn.
You need to upload it to an image hosting site first, Photobucket for instance.
Also, do you still have the original? Otherwise you're going to have to start over from scratch.

sigh..i cant stand photobucket. and of course i accidentally the original. oh well. back to the drawing board
besides the glaring format mistake, whats your overall opinion of it so far?
So far I like it, but you should generally avoid all-black outlines. Also the colors are a bit boring.
Right now I'm getting the lines so you don't have to start completely over. I'll be done in a minute.

awesome, thanks. the colours ar much more vibrant, but the jpg format totally bleached them and completely got rid of some of the shading >:c
Did my best to figure out what's what. From the lines I can see that you need to define the fingers better and make the arms a bit less angular. Also, if you don't like Photobucket, you could try Imageshack.
ALSO also, save your work in BMP first to make sure you have a backup, and save it as PNG or GIF (with a converter, not MSpaint) when you want to upload it.
If you don't like Photobucket, try another site like
Imgur or
Minus. Attachments are frowned upon here, since most people would rather not have to bother with downloading the sprite just to look at it.
