The VG Resource

I don't know why, but I have a really hard time getting excited for this. It seems like it's just gonna be another Namco x Capcom, which from what I've heard was a laborious grindfest and really boring... so hopefully it's not that. But there's still the trend of crossover games (other than Capcom fighting games... mostly) running on pure hype and novelty instead of actually being good games. Though the sprites look good, imo. They seem very similar to the Tales of Destiny 2 remake sprites, which is cool.

The character choice is pretty sweet, though. Hopefully some more Tales characters will make it in as hidden characters or whatever. Especially since eh... Estelle is rather lame, as far as Tales characters go, and she's probably the least interesting female lead (oh I'm a naive princess healer look at me! bleh). At least Yuri is awesome. As far as other series go, Phantasy Star, Rival Schools and SF Alpha and 3 would be awesome to see represented in some way, as well.

Jetters was wondering if X and Zero were going to be the only Megaman characters to get in, not if they were going to be in generally.

Actually what I meant was... how do I explain this,
if X and Zero were going to be the Mega Man characters in the game like they did for Marvel VS. Capcom, because I'm pretty sure if they did that (which I now see they did), they would not include any other MM franchise characters (I want them to though, I'm in full support of the BN idea).

at this point, the only mega man sub-series to never have any presence in capcom fighting games are star force and zx. which would be more likely to make an appearance here?

Oh... I don't care for either of those series, so in that case, give me a Robot Master/Maverick or two.

Although honestly I forgot about the characters from Command Mission. I'd much rather have Cinnamon, Marino or Massimo. Let me fix that the right way.

Out of Sega, i pretty much want the main Sonic characters. And probably Joe Musashi as well.
Also the centurions from Altered beast, heck, even the cockatrice as well. (You know, that was an enemy from AB, then became a steed in Golden Axe)

For Namco. Rick from Splatterhouse pretty much.

Capcom? Well, can't represent Darkstalkers without Morrigan and Felicia. And gotta have Arthur and Firebrand in there as well.

From the screenshots, it does look very interesting. I agree that the sprites are awesome.

so I really want Jack Cayman in this (since SEGA published Madworld, I know Platinum was the company that made him and all that but still, it would be rad), and I most certainly want Beat from JGR.

Give me these two and I'd be happy~
