OK, so I made most of those revisions but I have some comments on these
Quote:The skidding time is too long. Make it less extreme for Arisa, and keep it for Sengi~ (doesn't need to be now, though: let's focus on getting the overall physics right first).
There isn't much I can do about that unless I completely change the running... again.. but I'll try
Quote:Letting Arisa/Sengi~ hop on the spring for a long time will make her walk on her own.
I have no idea why this is happening as you will never enter your running sprite without pressing the left or right key. I'll have to look into this more.
Edit:
Just after I posted this I realized what is causing the second one.
Edit:
Quote:Make Arisa/Sengi~ place the object beside her, not directly below her.
Then when you place an object while facing a wall what would the object do?

the object would be simply pushed away from the wall and stop beside it, overlapping the player. Placing it directly under the player is kind of uncomfortable imo.
I was playing this version at school and I found an entertaining glitch that I thought I would share
There are a few varients on it too
So is that for the Space Shooter minigame?
yes, it is, though I'll give you more details about it when I make all the graphics
as for the lack of hair bobbles in that sprite, I'll add them later. Not making them now makes it easier to edit to other powerups.
Excuse the lack of updates, I've had some problems with the darn spring. That THING has a mind of its own
Some Things Work perfectly
Most do not
'
What is this? I don't even... (It FLEW up there on its own)
When I work out all of these I'll update it then I'm going to work on the stage builder so some levels will at least be completed.
I've separated the character sheets so I don't get distracted by other things.
also
cutscene idea?
I like how Crappy Blue Luigi said crap.
I enjoy how Gilbert looks in this style.

This could be for a "world shortcut" in which you could skip a level via finding my (or robo9's) hiding spots, and then throwing Arisa/Shooting her from a cannon.
Now you can expect a test cutscene in the next update too
Edit:
I just remembered a mechanic for speech bubbles I set up for a game a while ago and thought it could be useful here.
Edit:
Here it is... It's basically just a bug cough*(Sengi) fix. Literally I fixed up Sengi~ a bit so she plays different than Arisa. There are also some other smaller fixes and not anything too huge but I just wanted to show the cutscene mechanic.
Notes:
Music is now loaded externally (Hooray for reduced filesize)
Just wanted to point out, in case no one noticed, you can press f4 for full-screen.
Sengi~ can hover by holding the jump button. It lasts about 30 frames.
Enjoy!

why would we need a world shortcut for a game 4 levels long
also I am loving your progress so much, ploaj
I'll playtest this new baby and find any quirks that need to be ironed out soon~
If I hover low to the ground, then let go of the jump button when I hit the ground, Sengi~ gets stuck in hovering frames. If I touch a wall while stuck in the hovering frames, then I get stuck in falling frames. The same thing happens if I'm in hovering frames when I touch a spring.
I was hovering as Sengi~ and then I got stuck to the ground.
I threw a minecraft block when i was on the spring and then I was finally able to get that coin. yay for me c:
All I did was grab a block, and ran straight to the left
