Well the big problem in the past about video game movies was that the guys making them had no appreciation for what they were working with. They took it as gimmick to make money rather than make a work of art.

Perhaps these guys understand video games. The fact that they have Bowser, Wily, Eggman and more in a room together show that they have some love of video games.

Animated Disney movies always did have a lot of craftsmanship and love put behind them.
And Disney is even bold enough to say that this is "this generation's Who Framed Roger Rabbit". So I believe this movie is gonna be great. If anyone else was doing it, I'd be skeptical about it. Just by looking at the concept art itself, you know there is a lot of appreciation put behind this.

Now the ONLY thing that worries me is..who is doing the voice acting for the cameo characters? I mean, I'm sure Bowser is gonna be talking..

Oh lawdy...

I forgot all about that movie fff.
Scratch that, MOST of their animated movies.

Wreck-it-Ralph will have a reveal trailer on June 6th.

It has been officially announced on the facebook page, which I'm sure is where the trailer will be up for viewing at.
Keep your eyes out for it.

I thought it might have to do with Brave coming out around that time, which I always predicted would show a trailer.

hate me, but this doesnt even sound half as promising as it should be, mainly due to the aproach they are taking to the concept.

it should actually show an actual "gaming" universe and not a "disneyfied" gaming universe. i can foresee a bunch of novelty gags, the already knwon cameos and references, and thats all.

what has been revealed of the plot so far, it crudely resembles... megamind.

I like the visuals so far, but other than that, I'm really not sure what to think about this movie...

I think it looks really polished, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle other companies IPs.

Here is the trailer. I like their take on the travel between worlds. It makes you think of what every video game character does in their spare time.
The music could've been more..video gameish though. My only complaint.

Same here, although I'm sure it'll be fine, all in all. I'm really looking forward to this movie now, after seeing the trailer.
Of course, I'll watch just about any animated movie, as long as the art direction is sound.

Chun Li, T-Rex from meet the Robinsons, Mokujin,, Burger-Time, thats all I could find that I didn't already see...

Also who is the blue dragon? Is he from Q*bert too?
